I've been at this for 15 years now. It's crazy how fast time flies right? My journey began when I was 15. I had a passion for improving my body through lifting weights. That passion grew into me wanting to become one of the strongest men in the world as an ASC Professional Heavyweight Strongman. Thats what I did - as a drug free athlete. What equipment will I need?All you will need is a rack, barbell, plates, dumbbells & resistance bands That's all you will Need... However, it would be beneficial to have a full gym of typical equipment. We do occasionally have some machines, as well as cables prescribed in our programs - But, they can easily be substituted with the basic equpment listed above. If there is ever a piece of equipment prescribed in your your program that you don't have access to, we have reccomendations on how to subsitute it!

What is TLM Beginner University?If you are new to exercise, we have something amazing for you. TLM Beginner University is a built-in crash course that precedes future programs. We'll spend 6-weeks gradually walking through every aspect of training that you need to know. Day by day, week by week, we will introduce & learn the basics. Results during the TLM Beginner University are fantastic, and will be some of the fastest you will ever expeiernce. After completing it, you will be more knowledgeable & better equipped than 90% of people who ever step foot into a gym. It's automatically included at no extra charge when you sign up for any of our Beginner Programs

Is nutrition included in these programs?Nutrition coaching is not included in these programs. However, the TLM App does sync up with your MyFitnessPal account. If you're interested in diet coaching, check out Madison's Nutrition Coaching Page

Will this program help me lose weight?It depends... It can help, but it is not the only thing you need to take into consideration in order to lose weight. Weight loss is dictated by the daily amount of calories you are eating versus the daily amount of calories you are burning. If you eat more calories than you burn - you will gain weight, and vice versa, if you eat less calories than you burn - you will lose weight. If you are currently not exercising regularly, our program will get you active and burning more calories. This is only half of the equation though. You still need to make sure that you are not eating more calories than you are burning. You can not out-exercise a bad diet.

Will lifting heavy weight make a girl bulky?Nope! The amount of muscle that you have the potential to carry on your frame is largely driven by your hormones. A woman's hormone balance is not designed to pack on muscle mass like a man's. Therefore, unless you are taking supplemental hormones, such as testosterone, you do not have to worry about "looking manly". In fact, lifting heavy from time to time is one of the best tools to help you build an hour glass figure.

Should I do cardio?Cardio exercise is a very healthy activity & can be a part of anybody's routine. However, it is not 100% necessary in order to achieve your ideal figure. You can lose fat without any dedicated cardio. That's why we do not assign it in any of our programs. Here's how we view cardio as it relates to our programs: If you want to do a little, go for it. We recommend that you keep it lower in intensity & limit it to no more than an hour or so per week. Example: Madison's program often does not include cardio. If it does, it's usally walking 20 mins 3 x per week
